A Speech: The Young Muslim’s Role in Changing the World (Part 3)

Now I’m asking you why, why is Islam very shining, astonishing and feared in the past and now appeared as a homeless sick man that no one cares about him, even himself? You already have the 

answer!

The answer is the young people! Our young people of Islam! Our teenagers, our Childs of future!

There was a story, and you probably have heard about it. There was a king from faraway land that very wondering why the neighbor kingdom is more powerful than his. So, he sent a scout to one of the city. When the scout enters the city, he astonished to the people at the city. They have strong spirit, motivation, and vision about their future. One day, he came to see a group of children practicing his archer skill. One of those children is not with his bow. He is crying. So, the scout came over him,

“What’s the matter, boy?” he asked

“I sad because I can’t reach the target with my bow”, cried him.

Now the scout understands about the situation and reported it the king

“O mighty king, our kingdom is overwhelmed by their kingdom because every single of their citizens has strong willing, and a big ambitions that much bigger than ours.” said him.

“So, how we can defeat them?” asked the king

“Simple, my king, we must crush their ambition, their mental. Send them distractions. Build a bar, discotheque, and pleasuring places for them, that will do a great effect!” the scout said it with a smile.

Then, after years, the king sent the same scout to take a look about the result of their psychological attack in the same city.

Now, he saw a teenager, crying in the side of city wall. So, the scout came over him,

“What’s the matter, boy?” he asked

“I sad because my girlfriend left me behind because she found another handsome man”, he cried.

Hearing this, the scout smiled wider than before and came back to the king

“My king, we have succeeded! Now, no matter we attack them with our army or not, they will be perished by themselves!” laughed the scout.

However, the scout was right. Years after he said that, the neighbor kingdom suffers because of their citizen had lost their willing to live. Then the king mobilizes his army, and conquer that kingdom without any heavy fight.

What can we see from story is so clear. The world of Islam is being poisoned. And, who had contaminated the most is our teenagers. They had successfully lost, forgot that they are this religion’s last hope from being doomed. They forgot that they were a Muslim.

So, what’s the solution for this problem? Simple, my readers!

Now, all of the young Muslim that still listening to my word, look at me! Look at yourself! Look at the world! Wake up! Wake up and slap your face! Wake up and realize who you really are! Who you are supposed to be!

Kuntum khairu ummah!

You, each of you are the last hope, the last and no more! You are supposed to lead this world! And I’ll tell you, if you still don’t care about yourself, that power will be filled by someone else! And it really happens now! So wake up! Wake up you young men! Remember what our proclamator said about yourself

“Give me ten young men and I’ll shock the world!”

Wake up, teenagers! Rise and shine and open your eyes! Realize what you can do for this world, as a Muslim! You don’t need to be expert at fiqh problems or make a new mazhab, or be a fake prophet to be a good Muslim! Because everyone can be a good Muslim in their own ways!

So, if you are a Journalist, say these words with proud, “I’m a journalist and I’m a Muslim!” IF you are a Doctor, say “I’m a Doctor and I’m a Muslim!” If you are a Programmer, say “I’m a Programmer and I’m a Muslim!”, an Engineer, Advocate, President, or even anything you could, and must be!

So, what do you waiting for? Wake up and smell the ashes of your ancestors that have light this world with their torch, torch of Islam! Maybe the world still don’t know about you, but it’s a fact that this world, the whole humanity, needs your thinkings! So, show them! Spread the light of Islam inside of you to the world! Together we can do it! Make those bullyers cried under your feet! Make them regret from choosing a wrong enemy! Show them who you really are! When the world fails, we step in! Together, we can make this world ours again, once and for all!
